The Waterside at Trosvik

Nordic won the competition to deliver 23.000 m² of residential and commercial development along Trosvik park’s waterfront.

We have set a simple and easy-to- understand plan that subdivides the area into “suitably large” plots around streets and places that are interesting to move in and stay on – this is an essential part of the answer. A location that is based
on the best historical characteristics of smaller towns and cultivates both the functional, experiential and social quality of the spaces between the houses – and not least consciously plays on the positive opportunity of allowing residential
and commercial areas to develop in an enriching community around the common urban rooms.
