The metropolitan emergency service will provide everyone in the city with an acute 24-hour health facility with a a wide range of quality services. The new Emergency Centre project includes planning (incl. Sketch project, preliminary project and regulation process), detailed design and construction of a new Emergency Centre in Aker. The project expresses itself as two simple volumes located in the beautiful green landscape. The building creates a clear boundary between Trondheimsveien and the hospital area. It will also act as a noise shield against Trondheimsveien, and “catch” the sunlight. A clear, functional, holistic project where proximity and function are prioritized, with robust and flexible solutions.
